Hardin Northern Public Library

Our Summer Reading program was a success again this year! Children participated in a variety of fun activities to promote reading. Thanks to everyone who particpated or helped to make this a success!

We are pleased to announce that we are a collection site for the HN Community Food Pantry.   Anyone wishing to donate non-perishable food items to the food pantry can drop them off at the library during regular hours.  The food pantry will serve families & individuals in the Hardin Northern School District. 

The book discussion group meets monthly to discuss a current book.  Stop in to pick up a copy of the latest title and join our group!

Chick Flick movie nights take place montly at the library.  While the evening is geared to a female audience, anyone interested is invited to the free movie. Guests may may bring their own snacks if they wish.  Check the library for information on this month's "Chick Flick Movie Night."

Once a month on Friday nights, the public is invited to a movie at the library.  The movie and popcorn are free and anyone interested is invited to attend.  Watch for information about upcoming movies!

Vicki Phillips from the OSU extension office presents monthly programs on topics pertaining to good nutrition and wiser eating habits.  She visits the library the last Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m.  Anyone wanting to learn how stretch his or her food budget and share recipes and ideas is invited to attend. The program is a cooperation of the library and Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
